Prof Liming Wang, Director of UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland welcomed all the participants at the Forum.

Ms Jin Liang introduced the concept of Information Literacy in her presentation. Information Literacy refers to all the necessary skills involved in academic researches, including the ability to identify, find and assess the information needed. Ms Liang believes that Information Literacy not only enhances people’s learning efficiency and academic level, it also improves their critical thinking and life-long learning capabilities.

Ms Feng and Ms Guo both talked about the history and the available academic resources and service of CNKI. They encouraged the PhD students to make full use of CNKI’s resources in their academic researches and activities.
