Dublin Children’s Confucius Class welcomed nearly 160 new students on September 10th 2016. The new academic year saw 12 classes offering accurate grouping and systematic teaching based on children’s ages and Chinese levels. While teaching the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, the classes incorporate Chinese culture, traditions and talents in their teaching to create a relaxing and happy environment as well as excellent teaching and learning experience.

The Dublin Children’s Confucius Class is a joint effort between UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland and Aihua Chinese School. Since its establishment in 2006, UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland has become a professional platform for Chinese teaching and cultural promotion in Ireland. Founded in 2004, Aihua Chinese School prides itself on the rich experience in children’s Chinese teaching. The first term of the joint venture in the first half of this year concluded with professional teaching resources and successful teaching results. It was well received by both parents and students. The Dublin Children’s Confucius Class will continue its mission to provide a top quality Chinese learning environment for the children in Dublin.
